In October 2006, thanks to the efforts of the Latino/a Law Student Association, the National LLSA Conference in October 2006. will be held at the University of Washington.

February 17-18, 2006 Fulfilling the Legacy: International Justice 60 Years After Nuremberg; Amnesty International USA Lawyers' Conference - A biennial gathering of lawyers, legal professionals, law students, and human rights activists interested in issues of international justice.  At the University of Washington School of Law.

February 10 & 11, 2006 - UW Native American Law Students Association (NALSA) is hosted the National Moot Court Competition

-Civil Rights Symposium and CLE Sponsored by the Washington Women Lawyers.  Keynote Speaker: Attorney Rita Bender.
Professors, legislators and activists discussed the history of the civil rights movement as well as the status of current civil rights issues in Washington.
